Umamusume, developed by Cygames Inc., has renewed its partnership with the Breeders’ Cup, a premier horse racing event in the United States. As part of this collaboration, Cygames will serve as the title sponsor for the Breeders’ Cup Sprint, a prestigious race with a purse of $2 million and a distance of 1,200 meters (approximately 3,937 feet). The race is scheduled to take place on November 1, 2025.

Partnership Highlights

Since its inception in 1984, the Breeders’ Cup World Championships has been operated by Breeders’ Cup Limited. The upcoming event in 2025 will be held at the Del Mar Thoroughbred Club in San Diego, California, from October 31 to November 1. This year, the Championships will feature 14 Grade 1 races with total payouts exceeding $34 million.

As part of the partnership, Cygames’ branding will appear in prominent locations including the race title, starting gate, and saddle towels worn by the horses. Ticket prices for general admission range from $80 to $265, while box-seat options start at $504 and go up to $1,590.
