Hulu Brings Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods to Streaming
Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will begin streaming on Hulu starting September 26, marking its first theatrical release in nearly 20 years. Originally released in 2013, this anime film by Toei Animation introduced the concept of Gods of Destruction, paving the way for the beloved Dragon Ball Super series.
Additional Titles Coming to Hulu
In conjunction with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods, Hulu will also feature four titles from HIDIVE, including Food Wars! The Second Plate in both subbed and dubbed versions. This follows the August premiere of four other HIDIVE titles, such as Oshi no Ko Season 2.
Upcoming Blu-ray Releases

Theater Release of Extended Cut
The extended 105-minute version of Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Gods will debut in European theaters later this year under the distribution of Piece of Magic (PoM). Directed by Daisuke Nishio at Toei Animation, the film continues the story post-Majin Buu, as the ancient God of Destruction, Beerus, seeks out Goku, rumored to have defeated Frieza.
The Z-Fighters realize the threat Beerus poses and must act quickly. Goku, as humanity’s last hope, must tap into the powers of a legendary Super Saiyan God to prevent Beerus from annihilating Earth and the universe.
